Yukimura SANADA
This is a statue of Sanada Yukimura (Nobushige) which stands in front of Ueda station. Sanada Yukimura (1567-1615) was a samurai warlord of the Sengoku period (or Warring States period from mid-15th to early 17th century) who cornered Tokugawa Ieyasu till the end. This bronze statue shows Yukimura wearing his famed deerhorn helmet. #Samurai
