Lake Megamiko

Lake Megami is an artificial lake at an altitude of 1550m overlooking Mt.

It is a 5-minute walk from "Wildflower", and you can see Lake Megami from your twin room.
The skunk cabbage and Asian skunk cabbage in spring, the cool breeze and fireworks on the lake in summer, the autumn leaves, and the snowy landscape in winter.

It is said that Mt. Tateshina was named after Mt. Tateshina because it has another name for the mountain of the goddess.

/ Shiozawa Weir and Gobashira no Michi: Shiozawa weir is one of the 100 best Sosui (canals) in Japan. The natural waterway meandering through the plateau will give you a peaceful time.
/ Oshika-ike Pond: The pond is famous as the motif of Kaii Higashiyama's work "Midori Kyoiku" (Green Resonance), and can be reached in 40 minutes by car from Wildflower.

Tateshina Great Falls is a beautiful waterfall with an impressive 5-meter drop, a wide stream and a large waterfall basin. You may even see a dragon god tree. The Yasujiro Ozu Memorial Museum (Mugeiso) is located nearby.
/ Otome Falls: Otome Falls is one of the waterfalls in Yokoya Gorge, and sometimes freezes over to become an icefall. Other waterfalls in Yokoya Gorge include Oshidashi-no-taki Falls, O-taki Falls, and Kirifuri Falls.
/ Onna-no-kami ice water: Onna-no-kami ice water is a spring located between Lake Tateshina and Lake Shirakaba on the Venus Line. The water gushes out from between rocks and is very cold.
